At Wilderness Valley, we are known across New Zealand for producing high-quality, sustainable, pure, and authentic Manuka honey. We are a family-owned and operated honey producer, and our farm is located in Ruatiti Valley, a remote setting in the King Country in the Central North Island. 

The sustainable farming methods that we use are central to everything we do here at Wilderness Valley. Our farming methods are also crucial to the quality of honey that we produce.

We are devoted to this land, and we are passionate about working with nature. We do everything in-house, too, including beekeeping, extraction, and bottling. Every jar of Manuka Honey that we produce is hand packaged.

Our abundant farm produces both mono-floral and multi-floral Manuka honey. In its purest form, Manuka honey is a mono-floral honey, which means that it is made from the nectar of a single type of tree – in this case, the Manuka tree, a beautiful, native New Zealand tree.

Our UMF™ 5+ (MGO 83+) products are Mono-Floral Manuka honey. Our Mono-Floral Manuka honey has the markers that define it as a Manuka honey, which means that it has distinct Manuka characteristics. This makes it a great option if you’re looking for an everyday honey for cooking, baking, or even to have on toast. It is also ideal if you prefer your honey a little sweeter, or are new to Manuka honey, and would like to start by trying a lower grade.
