Honey from an untouched wilderness.
Sustainably produced by third-generation New Zealand farmers, our UMF™ certified Mānuka honey is as wild and pure as the land it comes from
Wilderness Valley honey comes from a spectacular, remote, and untouched ecosystem as pure as the honey we produce.
Nestled in the wild hills and glistening rivers of the New Zealand King Country is Ruatiti Station, a honey-making utopia and the 5,000 acres of paradise we call home.
Our Story
From our 5,000 acre Ruatiti Station boarding the Whanganui National Park, we manage every step of the process - from hive to jar. Our bees forage on pristine Mānuka trees, and our honey is independently tested and UMF™ certified for authenticity and purity.
Every batch tested and graded by an independent laboratory and verified by the UMF Honey Association.
Genuine potency, verified purity.
5,000 acres of our remote hill country station. Our bees forage on native bush far from pesticides, pollution, and disturbance.
Single-origin soure - What goes in the jar is exactly what the bees made - nothing added, nothing taken away.
Sustainability
We manage our hives, our land, and our practice with a long-term view. Healthy bees, healthy bush, healthy honey. Our commitment to the environment is inseparable from the quality of what we produce.
The Unique Mānuka Factor (UMF™) is the gold standard for authentic New Zealand Mānuka honey. It measures three key compounds - Leptosperin, DHA, and Methylglyoxal (MGO) - unique to genuine Mānuka. Every jar we sell carries a UMF™ grade you can verify independently.
