What is Manuka Honey?

Manuka [ mā·nu·ka ] honey comes from the nectar of Manuka trees, Leptospermum Scoparium, which is native to New Zealand. It is the nectar and the bee that give this honey its unique properties. The presence of those properties is confirmed in our products by Manuka honey UMF certification.

The non-peroxide activity, as it was named by Dr Peter Molan of Waikato University, is 100 times more stable and potent than any other honey.
